damn i wish they would just release the game today i want it so bad. if a ps3 exclusive gets a good score here you know its gonna be amazing and it did so i want it even more now
I think it's a joke they gave GTA4 a perfext 10 and LBP a 9.0. I'm not complaining over LBP's score alone- a 9.0 is great. But in comparison to their score for GTA4- in my opinion is whack. IMO GTA4 deserves a 9.0 and LBP deserves a 9.5. I guess thats why everyone has their own opinion and is why i take reviews with a grain of salt.
(No need to quote and flame me I know LBP and GTA4 are in completely different genre's and probably were reviewed by two different people - just stating my opinion)
I know, if anything - time consuming is a good thing. I was in the beta, and the simplest of things felt like a huge accomplishment, and by the time I finished a level I felt pretty friggin good about it. If we could turn out awesome levels in 30 minutes, I think that the replay value would decrease. I loved spending hours on level making, its addictive fun for all!

I loved the 9 /10 I dont really care that its not a 10 or a 9.5, 9/10 is Gamespots way of saying 'Yea its a great game but shhh I didn't say that lol' The downsides they listed can be easily fixed by patches. The camera not being able to keep up will be solved by creating a smaller respawn area and automatically teleporting sackboys and girls back onto the centre screen if they are alive but left behind. The learn curve is going to be there when people get there hands on the creation mode. But by looking at the pre made levels and how they work. I wont be long till everyone will be embarrasing MM in what we can create...See you all in the POD's :D
Still hasn't convinced me i want this game but good score nonetheless especially if your into level creators. I gotta hand it to GS for a good written review except for some of the bads like level designing is time-consuming and story mode only 6 hours long yet they say themselves that the item collecting can add hours to the story.
i dont understand any of their gripes outside of the camera.i dont see how they keep bringing up the single player length when this game is made for its online community. and an intensive time consuming level creator is a good thing. i dont know those things seem to be moot points to me. the camera isnt too bad on multilpayer as long as you dont have anyone who sucks at playing, but multiplayer can be a little harder overall.

I agree..The fact that this got the same score as dead space is crazy...fable 2 will probaly get a 9.5

Yeah same here, when i was reading the reviews it had cons of both the story is too short and then the otehr con being, making levels takes too long? lol pick one and dont contradict yourself. i myself would love to spend a long time just screwing around, making an awesome level
It probably should have got a 9.5 and MGS4 should have also got a 9.5 because the online sucked... if they didn't put online in there it should deserve a 10... and GTA4 should have got an 8.5. thats myopinionsthough.
9.0 is a great score. I don't get all the complaining that it didn't get .5 more or a perfect 10. I'm sure I'll enjoy the game when it finally comes out. Only a few days left until I can go pick up my preorder.

That definitely shouldn't be considered a flaw, I could understand if they said " building a compelling level can be done very easily". They need to take that out of the bad, its quite confusing.....

they seriously favor xbox too much now, i've been mad at them since that fake xbox360/ps3 assassins creed comparasin. Where the Rbg range was on limited and it wasn't even on 1080i and the 360 was on full force trying to play the game.
