LBP hype?

Me to. Then i can play with others in the same room. I feel like there's no fun in multiplayer games for next-gen consoles.

I know you will all think im stupid buts whats the big hype about LBP, I havent had time to read up on it, but whats so good about it and what can you do on it?muelsok

Why not read a preview on the game since you are on a website?

I wonder myself, "what is all this hype behind a kids game for?". I'm getting it, the marketing team did a great job pushing it out there. Now if the results match the hype.....thats a different thing. It would be nice if it did meet expectations. Besides, what else is there to get on the PS3?

i suggest you go on gametrailers and watch developer interviews and levels the developers have created.

But if you need persuation here goes:

LBP is a 2d platformer that contains 50 levels straight out of the box with multiple different types of levels like classical platformer, challenges with scores, races, etc...

The emphasis is majorly on the fact that you can make very imaginative levels very easily with the tools that have been given and the limit is your imagination. they also claim that the premade levels can be done by yourself providing you have the imagination.

Once you have created the level, you can play them offline and online. You can also share them online and play other peoples levels. each level that is created can be rated by anyone and there will be a leaderboard for most poular and most highly rated level.

You could create your own 2d game with multiple levels and a story linked to it if you really wanted to! hell... alot of people are thinking of doing a super mario clone ;).
