If I had the choice LPB Karting on the PS3, or Vita I would probably play it on the Vita, just seems to suit more. However the game would really have to turn out amazing for me to put my money down and buy it, since im having my full of Sackboy with LBP Vita.

I didn't think it was horrible, but it felt too much like a generic karting game with a tacked-on LBP poppit and very boring "Pod". The elements that fit LBP so well just feel out of place in a Karting game, and there's not such a good reason for a lot of the elements that were included. Outside of its interface, it's still a generic karting game.
Like gran said it was way to generic also for me. It just felt like modnation with a LBP skin. If they do crossbuy AND crossplay so I can play on my vita while my 2nd player can play against me on the ps3 then I will get either copy.
No it doesn't. If it did I'd have been more than satisfied. Modnation actually has good gameplay. The problem with LBPK is that it literally feels like a poor mans Mario Kart. Modnation felt unique with the boost/shield system and the 3 level item system was really good. It also played at a good pace. LBPK plays ridiculously slowly. Possibly even slower than Mario Kart, and that's saying something! The difference between Modnation and LBPK is that if you took the creation stuff out of Modnation I would still find it appealing.

Nope, just rumours. TBH though I wouldn't be surprised to see LBP: Karting on the Vita sooner or later. Similar to how both the PSP and Vita has received a LBP (that wasn't just a port), so I'm sort of expecting to see news about this, maybe at E3 2013 with a winther Q4 2013/ Q1 2014 release.
I'm going to have to agree with everyone who didn't like the beta.... the game feels too close to Modnation Racers. I am not a fan of Modnation Racers, but I think if I was, I would prefer it to LBP Karting.
