I've decided to pick up a PS3 after playing my PS2 to it's end! Of course a big title I want to pick up is GOW3, after playing the first two and loving 'em. Now, I was loving LBP but never really got into it, just seeing it here and playing it for 5 mins. there. So I want to pick it up, but now that LBP2 is coming out in a month or two I'm wondering if I should wait? Being new to the game should I play out the old one or wait for the new release? Cheers
HI i say wait for lbp2 because its only coming out in november. so for buy a game thats will stretch for a while and has online or freeplay like just cause 2 or infamous (number 2 is coming out 2011 though) or cod mw2 or something like need for speed shift. hope this helped :D http://www.ps3trophies.com/card/3/HeroTragic.png
I cant emagine anyone telling you to NOT get LBP? IF you have or are getting a PS3 and havent played that game you are missing out on a very fun and original title.
Sweet, thanks for the help everyone. I think, because it's so right now I may get LBP and then after a while upgrade to LBP 2 after the winter holidays.

Not ignorance. It is my opinion. That is what forums are about, opinions. I left my opinion that LBP isn't very good. And, if you'll notice, I did not recommend PC games, I recommended two PS3 games. So, if anyone is ignorant, it is you my friend.
The game isn't so expensive anymore, 30 bucks, but to be honest, the game comes out in 2 months, I would say wait it out if you really don't want to spend the money. i'm pretty sure a lot of people who had LBP are going to get LBP 2 and probaby never play LBP again because the community would be stronger for the 2nd one than the 1st one anyway. Unless you want to play a game where no one creates anything anymore because they got the 2nd one.
Normally I'd say play the original, especially since it's so cheap now, but LBP is one of those games that you'll probably probably be better off waiting for the sequel.
