I'm looking for a good affordable HD LCD for my ps3 and I was wondering how do you find out if it has 480, 720, 1080i, or 1080p? I'm sorta new at this, but from the HDMI display settings in the PS3, those are the only options for resolution. I've looked in the tech specs for the LCD i want but nothing comes up with those numbers. It does however say: Max Resolution: 1920 x 1080, so maybe thats it? Can anyone help?

if it says 1920x1080, than it does all those resolutions, unless its 1080i only.

1. What size range are you looking for? 2. How much are you willing to spend? 3. I'm assuming you want the max resolution which is 1080p, right? answer these and I'll give you a bestbuy link or something.

1920x1080 is 47" TV and up. You dont need a tv that big unless you want it.
