does it matter what brand i get. i mean a Sony HDMI cost $50 while others are much less. it lncludes a USB cable but i already 4 now. speaking of USB, when i connected a USB device to the TV all it's doing it charging?

i have a cheap hdmi cable that costs like 15$ and a monster one that costs like 50$, and there is no difference whatsoever as far as the picture goes. so it doesnt really matter which one you buy.

It doesn't matter what brand of HDMI cable you get. Personally I buy the cheapest ones I can find and they work just fine. The salesmen at Best Buy will tell you otherwise because the store makes a good profit on the expensive cables.

The difference is more likely to come when watching a high end bluray with 7,1 because there is so much being sent you need a cable capable of handling it.

Just make sure it's an HDMI 1.3 cable and you'll be good.
