http://www.justpushstart.com/2013/02/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-might-sneak-onto-ps-vita/ So basically the exclusion of the Peacewalker in the PSvita version of the MGS collection makes it obvious. Peacewalker will be in HD with unique features probably as well for the Psvita. This will be the first of the many games that the Vita will use to fly off the shelves soon. Along with Soul Sacrifice, Killzone Mercenary and Phantasy Star, it's looking to be good for the Vita.

I'd get it. I just hope that it's not priced like a new Vita game.

Not included in the MGS HD Collection and now they want to make it *HD* for the Vita and charge people again ? They can get stuffed.

Vita needs new games, not ports of games it can already play.

If they give it to me as an add-on for the HD Collection, then I'm all for it. I don't see that happening, though. Perhaps it's a reference to a new native Vita title? Kojima did say he had something big planned at the Vita's press conference, and I doubt the HD collection was the only thing he meant. He really wasn't involved in the HD remasters anyway.

[QUOTE="StaticOnTV"] This will be the first of the many games that the Vita will use to fly off the shelves soon.

If you think so, I forsee you are going to be disappointed. Although in HD, this is an old game. Kojima fans already got it and finished it. Every HD revivial was a poor seller, and I think Peace Walker for Vita will be, too. The Vita won't run off the shelves for this. A brand new Metal Gear Solid game for Vita, on the other hand...

Hopefully. It's already on the consoles in the HD collection like this should have been on the VITA. No one should have supported either game on the Vita.

Kojima could have been referring to an entirely new game...

personally still haven't played PeaceWalker. I'll get it if it's decently priced or free for PS+ (wishful thinking) :P

It might be because I got the game cheap, but I was under the impression that the Vita version of the HD Collection was about a third cheaper than the console version (reflecting PW not being included)?

I thought they were about the same price. I bought the special edition for the 360 so I don't know for sure but I thought the regular price was $40-$50.

The Vita version was cheaper in Canada but only because the console versions costed more than they did in the States. They were the same price in the U.S.

What are you talking about? The Vita version costed(still in many places) $40 at launch, which was roughly the original cost of the console versions at launch. I'm also Canadian, so I don't think Canada got any special prices...
