Length of Games

I am by no means an 'expert gamer',, but i wanna get a game with some good life on it. I mainly only play sports games, but wanna get something different when i get a PS3 this week.

How long will it take to beat the following games:

Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Resistence, COD4, Assasins Creed, Orange Box

This can't be answered accurately because it depends on:

1. How much time you have on your hands?

2. How good you are in the games?

seems like every PS3 owner loves Uncharted, but its lack of online play and a pretty short completion time will probably make me rent it instead (at Blockbuster you can rent a game,, and as long as you return it within 30 days you will only have a $2 penalty on your account). If I spend $60 on a game, i want at least 2.5 months of play, otherwise renting it is much smarter

Im gonna buy COD4, ratchet (comes free with system) and fifa 08 and wait for GTA 4 and maybe MSG4
