I don't know if you're aware but Square is trying to further westernize and expand the series. Lil Wayne is pretty hot right now, it would definitely increase sales and product awareness of FF14. I hope a Square employee is reading this

im an avid supporter of underground hip-hop and any music with "conscience" lyrics in general. this has been lacking from the mainstream for a long time, and yes i DO know that. im over 30 and one of my first concerts was public enemy. ive been ingrained in the culture for over 20+ years now and am proud to say that hip-hop is a part of me.

Man, don't mak me gag. Any rapper featured in FF XIV would make me avoid the game altogether. Rap sucks, ESPECIALLY guys like Lil Wayne. There are rappers out there (or used to be) who take it seriously, but most of it is pure trash. It's always the same shhhiiit: girls, pu$$y, money, icing other guys, or thug life BS. That's not music. It just dumbs down our youth. What happened to people listening to music with substance? One major problem is that kids these days let the radio dictate what they should hear, and radio sadly is nowhere near the music vehicle it used to be. It's so corporate now. EVerything is about pushing the latest crappy single so much that they play it 20 times per hour. DJs don't look for gems in albums anymore that aren't singles.
