I saw a video from this years e3, it showed a thermometer on how much you can create, and it seemed to be going up pretty fast, like fast enough not to be able to create a level the size that comes with the game... (i think i found it on google video), but i was watching a video from last year, it said that you could put an infinate amount of stuf in your level. What happend? if i find the video ill put it up... will they really put a limit on what you can put in the level?

It's the same with all level creators, there's always a cap on the amount of memory you can use to create a level.

People with smaller hard-drives would be screwed otherwise.

The thermometer fills up really slowly, so you can still put loads of stuff in.

All the levels they've already made for the game, including the 'presentation' level they did for the PS3 conference at E3 were created using that thermometer cap.

So, you'll still be able to create massive levels.

Yeah the thermometer measures ur input limit, but from all the videos ive seen the worlds you make seem limitless in their own right. idont mind it that much, dont need things to be a cluttered mess anyway

They stated that every level they have created is within this thermometer limit. And if you recall the guy scanning through one of the maps the Media Molecule team made, the Level is HUGE. So i wouldnt worry too much about the cap.

To create a level in littlebigplanet, you go to the moon thing on the menu and each crater represents a possible level. The size of the crater determines the amount of stuff you can have in a level. So if you had a cool idea that would use minimal objects, you would use a smaller crater, and this allows for larger craters that would let you create larger levels than you would be able to if all possible levels to create were the same size.
