New is a relative term, so I'm not sure what you're asking. Did they add anything new from it's initial release, or are you asking what features have been added compared to the original game?
They added new content from the Playstation Store valued in 30$. The game comes with: - Metal Gear Solid, Monsters, Animals and History costumes - Metal Gear Solid, Monsters, Animals and History Level Pack - Metal Gear Solid, Monsters, Animals and History new stickers and decoration stuff - 18 used created levels featured by Media Molecule
Um... why would you want LBP GOTY? LBP 2 comes out tomorrow :D

I haven't played either, and plan on getting the GOTY edition in the next few days with a buy 2 get one free deal. You can get the first one for half the cost, and if you haven't played it, then it should still be awesome.
