Hey guys.

I just watched a whole new batch of gameplay footage over at gametrailers.com. I think I peed myself a little when I saw the level creator in full glory. Then I know I peed when I saw that you can control your upper/lower body and appendages independently!!!!!!!! This leads to slapping people around.

Come Oct. 21, I'm going to have to control my bladder, or my gf will have to kick me out of the house...or put newspaper down everywhere.

But I was wondering, has anything been released about custom soundtracks in the game? I'm hoping that its a "yes," for the level creator or whatever.

i don't think it'll have custom soundtrack, they did say something about editing sounds though, so that it suits your level design.

i like the fresh and appropriately-used music to set the tone for the game.

Oh, its not that I'm not appreciative of the developers choice in music. The Go! Team fit the game perfectly. And the latest trailers have Battles' "Atlas", which once again, set my bladder off at the inappropriate time out sheer excitement.

But when I'm spending hours to design the perfect level, I just want to make sure I dont bash my head off on the coffee table, because I've heard the same tracks over and over and over. Though I guess since The Sims, that hasn't been an issue.

custom soundtracks will only appeal to more consumers. This is suppose to be about CREATIVITY.

Consumers!? What do you think you are? What does xmb music have to do with being a consumer market?

I'm saying that I want customizable soundtracks for the level creator. When I spend a long time making levels, I don't want to be subjected to the same looped music the whole time.

Plus, what does creativity have to do with it? Maybe I'm most creative when listening to Sonic Youth or Aphex Twin.

Hence my question...

If theres an option to put your soundtracks to your levels...then I ain't playing yours. I can imagine it now, got my little sackboy, jumping through your level...suddenly..."I'LL.....EAT.....YOUR...SOUL.....WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

No thank you:P

??? I'm so confused.

Okay, I have said nothing about putting your own music to the levels. I want to know if I can listen to music while I am in the level editor. For my use only, when I'm spending hours designing levels.

Secondly, I have no clue what Sonic Youth song you're referring to, because never ever have Thurston or Kim sang about eating souls. People always get the wrong impression about the band.
