The story mode is short, but the challenge of it is getting 100% on all levels.

that game's richness is internet. you make your levels and share them, so you can get other people's levels to enjoy too. LBP is about being creativity... create-share-play...

The games innovative and great because you can play through both levels created by yourself and others. It's a new and very fun way to play with up to four friends in the same room, or up to four people on internet. That's the greatness of this game. The story mode is short cuz it's kinda warming you up before the real challenges and entertainment when you play customized games.

It gets a lot harder and the levels are pretty lengthy.

hey - at least you all get to play it.... my Mrs bought me my copy, waved it under my nose and promptly wrapped it up for Xmas!

Oh well, at least Xmas day should be fun - hopefully by then there'll be plenty of decent new levels to download from the community as well.

LBP is more on the creating levels and player other people's levels. The story mode is just a plus. And you need to "ace" and "100%" each story mode level to get all items/costumes/stickers.

All levels except the first two requires 2 or more players in order to 100% it.

have you played the online levels? theyre like 1/10 as good as the story ones. I'm really disappointed in the lack of story levels, and that the user created ones have been a bore fest... this game has so much more potential.

of those 51, only about 25 are 'proper' levels.. the rest are just challenge levels (with differnt difficulties, each counting as a "level", which end after like 2 minutes

After you beat one or two levels in "savannah" it opens up the next "world" which is the south american and central american levels... then after that it opens up more... you have to complete them in order... it's not the last level, if that's what you were asking.

Frankly I found the adventure mode to be long enough and challenging enough to hold my interest for those six hours, but your missing the point the real meat of this game comes from the level design. The level desing is it main selling point, that and the fact that it is one of the few games you can play on the PS3 with FOUR people. So if you didn't think the adventure mode was long enough then why don't you just go CREATE your own level, say "this is what they should have had", and post it on the sharing network.

Dude the game has been out for what...2 weeks now? How the hell do you expect a plethora of amazing user created levels in that short amount of time? You stated the game has much more potential.. which it does, given time. I'm willing to bet your attitude changes by the time Christmas rolls around and there are a lot more people playing/creating which in turn will result in a lot more quality levels being created than there are right now.
