I think this may explain why it happened, not from a financial side but from a historical side.

Yup I knew that. I wouldn't be surprised if the next dead rising and lost planet don't go multi-plat to the PS3. Capcom is just a greedy company but serves them right. They make a lot of addicting games.

Great observation.  For as much milking as Capcom has done in it's life it's not a surprise at all that they would do what they've done.  People need to let go of their hangups on old IP's and start looking to the future of fresh, new, creative IP's.

 Yeah I remember this now lol and the PS3 still did fine without RE series thnx man for that very helpful :D.

Yeah but I forgot 1 more relation. RE 2 was ported to another current gen console which was the N64 later on its life, this is similar to the first appearance of DMC in PC.
