LittleBigPlanet 2 Hype Thread (56k warning) GAMESPOT - AAAE -9.0!!!!!!

Hello and welcome to GameSpot's LittleBigPlanet 2 Hype Thread! The sequel to one of the most greatest, creative and cutest games of all time is shortly coming, and we are of course, disappointed with the previous year's delay of the game, but that will prepare the craving that we'll all have for the game. It's time to hit the sack, but be aware of a few things first:

No trolling, flaming, or discussing any other system or game, or most importantly, refrain from posting anything that would offend your granny. :P

Going off topic is allowed, but to lessen the load for the mods, let's try and discuss the game at hand mostly.

What do you think the game will get out of 10? Vote in the poll above, and discuss your thoughts. I personally am thinking a 9.5 or a possible evasive 10 from GameSpot.

If you spotted a new release date, new edition, info, etc, then PM me about it and I'll put it up.

If you wish, take a picture of your purchase when the game comes out and/or tell us what you think if the review is not yet in.

If you buy the CE of the game, do not post your code or any info you got with the game. It can lead to someone using the code from themselves and locking you out.

The cool thing is that you'll be able to have an army of sackbots!

Another rad thing is that instead of this being 2D, it'll be 2.5 D, meaning you'll fall not onto the floor, but into the back ground.

If you make a HYPE poll, expect AAA to win the majority of the time.

Logically, Gamespot gave LBP a 9.0, so it's possible this game will get anywhere from a 8.0 - 10. I'm thinking 9.0, personally...but I can see 8.5 or 9.5 either way. It's a tough call. I played the Beta, so I don't know. The Metascore at Metacritic is much easier to predict, as Gamespot is sometimes super random.

I would think it would get a 10 as long as filters and the on-disc levels are varied. I played some of LBP2 before and it was one of the funnest games I've ever played. Creating levels still looks like a major pain but as the community proved in the last game, people will take the time to dish out cool levels. The main problem with the first game I thought was if you don't have online and other people with you the game just simply is not fun. But LBP2 I think will fix those issues.

Those pics make me all excited! But I don't think this will get higher than an 8.5, it seems like the same game is the previous one but with added content.rubber-chicken

It is not getting higher than an 8.5, quick, un needed sequel. Everything in the new one could've been added s dlc and patch to LBP 1.

If it doesn't get at least a 9.0 or higher (I think a 10 out of 10) I will send a complaint in and I will send it in with a vigorous topic sentence, followed up explanation paragraphs and a fitting conclusion!
