The PSP's future is looking better than ever with God of War just about to be released. GoW: CoO is probably one of the best handheld games ever to be released. It's getting above 9/10 by everyone who's reviewing it.

Add in the awesome connectivity it offers with the PS3 and you've got one very cool console. I'd say the PSP is the best handheld available. It doesn't sell as well as the DS though because it isn't aimed toward kids and 40 year old woman. In the UK Nintendo are actually advertising the DS as a gift people should buy their mother for mothers day. LMAO.

God of War: CoO review scores so far.

You really should make up your own mind LOL. Otherwise you'll take someone elses advice, not be happy with your choice and be all mad about it. LOL...teehee.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but I believe in the near future and with the release of HOME on the PS3, I think that the PSP will gain an increasing amount of ways to sync to certain aspects of the PS3. If Sony does that, the PSP will live for a long, long time. It already has a great shelf life, but incorporating it more with the PS3 will solidify it's place as a killer handheld.

Also, with rapidly growing PS3 sales, the increasing abilities the PSP has to connect and interact with the PS3 will leave the PSP looking more and more attractive to both the Console users and the Hand-Held users out there.

It's already a great multimedia device, and with the recent and upcoming releases, along with more interactivity with the PS3, the PSP will once again have a breath of fresh air, gaining more popularity as the handheld of choice.

So bottom line, ATLEAST a few more years.
