If they made "Assassin's Creed 4: Girlpower" where a giggling lightly dressed girl was knifing people down would you go get that? What's with people's interest in this game? I don't get it.

Joss Whedon had similar detractors when he made "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". That went from cult movie to seven critically acclaimed TV seasons, and is still a hot commodity a decade after it stopped being produced with fans all over the world. A cheerleader slaughtering the Undead is absurdist humor, and it either works for you or it doesn't...
But the big draw for some gamers is Suda51 (Goichi Suda), who has developed some of the last two decade's strangest and most distinguished games, and writer James Gunn, who has managed to save the horror movie genre from PG-13 extinction. Between the two of them, there's a lot of twisted ideas and fans are hoping to get them through the game. And for what it's worth, I don't think the game can be compared to "Assassin's Creed" as that game has lofty ambition for what it wants to be... This game is going to be more like "Dead Rising" with a ton of vajayjay jokes. And that's fine.
Must every bit of art or expression be compared to The Mona Lisa, or "Citizen Kane"? It looks like it's gonna be a few laughs. No one says you have to play it, or even bother discussing it. I don't bother with Final Fantasy games because I'm not into she-males with giant swords endlessly pondering their place as reluctant heroes of their world, but it's certainly alright for others. But I don't post in FF threads very often because, why should I bother? If it's not your trip, move along...
:)
Yeah I guess. Probably not my type of humor. And I think it helps if one thinks that lollipop cheerleaders are hot. If you don't then maybe one can look past the main character and enyoj the game itself. Only that the game is about zombies and we're now at the end-cycle of zombie games (I hope) so it's been done way too much already. It says something about the low-risk, tried and true-mentality of the gamingindustry when games like CoD, Red Dead Redemption and Yakuza throws in zombies like it's coca cola that goes with any meal.
