long live cod 4, boo killzone

first of all i own a 360 and ps3 so i aint hating. i just feel like i have defend cod4. u people that say killzone blows cod4 are rediculous. wtf really cmon, do u not remember what made cod4 the game that it is. the controls in cod4 are just perfect, no sluggish crap like killzone.killzone, it feels like im playing a game from 6 years ago. at least cod4 gave u so many options and ways to kill others. u have rifles,pistols which actually work,rpgs,claymores,flashbangs,satchel,air strikes , heli. in killzone it seems like youre gun is all u use. plus not shooting through walls just feels outdated. when someone is hiding behind an aluminum panel and i cant shoot them is just lame. so many other things cod does better, animations,levels,urban combat,gun customization and the little things like flying debris just give cod an amazing overall way better game.cLAssic_BLUE

So with the huge amounts of time they have on their hands, completely wasting the little brain power they have, they make up fictional "societies" that they pretend they're apart of and act like they're in the middle of a Cold War with "the other system". These are the same types of people that would dive head first into a pit of spikes if they didn't get their "trophy". These aren't gamers at all. Just pathetic cattle on an addiction path looking for their next fix. I laugh my arse off when I come across these people online who act like they're two seconds away from slicing their wrists because you shot them with your "noob cannon" (aka the gun that you're "not supposed" to shoot them with)

The ultimate price for going mainstream. But it's true, all of us are stereotyped over crap like this. It's rather insulting when these kids go on Dr. Phil and you get some dumb TV "doctor" demonizing video games. We're all mindless and wasting our time. Yet, they never see the good people who are infact, quite intelligent.

Times like these, when a hyped game comes out (no matter the scale of the hype) people start getting out of hand with these topics.

But contrary to me saying that, I never get upset (unless something is blasphemous or my outside life/mood is permeating through my response/opinions); everyone is capable of formulating some kinds of an opinion, and many people feel the need to covey it (whether due to repulsion, resentment, enjoyment or plain boredom; the list is hardly exhausted) and this is, technically, the place to share these opinions. Whether we will agree with them or even care for them is a crapshoot in its entirety every single time a topic is born( especially on days/weeks like these), but I think people need to get this out of their system. Subjectivity is a contagious disease, but the effects of this illness vary by individual, know what I mean (I hope so). Anyway, enough of that, my theory on this whole thing is that the people who censure the harsh critics, trolls, hype leaders, nimrods (yes, I said nimrods :P ), etc. actually like these threads because they allow them to sound more rational and witty. I mean threads like this one are so easy to critique; just the existence of this thread could be criticized. I know people say that they're annoyed with them, and they in fact could very well be annoyed, but on the flip side they enjoy the ammunition they are provided with. That's my take... and I don't differentiate myself from that group, I get kicks out of it as well, even if it pisses me off. mini rant/wisdom sharing complete.

cod4 is an easy fps thats why so many people enjoy it. Killzone 2 actually takes skill and time to get the feel of the game. I own cod4 on 360 which I left on the shelf over a year now, one of my buddies asked me to join. So I finally took out Gears 1 and popped in cod4. I had atleast 30 kills or over in almost every game. Its easy just like halo which is why I dislike cod and halo.Heartagram_03
