It'll be on a game by game basis.
This isn't one of those things where everything gets faster because of the new hardware. It'll be luck of the draw.
Still a nice thing if you're lucky though lol The PSP being a bit faster in the future does help it because the two worst things in portable gaming are few save points and loading screens. Anytime you can cut down on those you have a better product.
Well, I don't think it's worth spending 200 more dollars on a new PSP just to save a couple of minutes on loading times...

i think i have seen a difference in vp lenneth and now that i saw that i am thankful i got a slim but i never had a phat one so....njean777
Accessing the menu is a LOT faster. That was my biggest gripe with VP, was how it would take almost fifteen seconds or more to load the status menu... EVERY time you load the status menu (or accidentally push the button).
