Looking for a game to keep me busy for the holidays ??? recommendations please

Well, I want to buy a game that can keep me busy for the holidays. Specially with online multiplayer, and no more than 30 bucks ( saving for early next year games )

These are my choices:

- Need for speed hot pursuit ( about 35 on black friday sale )
- battlefield bad company 2 ( 25 online )
- modern warfare 2 ( 25 online )
- red dead redemption ( 30 black friday sale )

or suggest something else :)

I'm currently playing red dead redemption and it's awesome! so that's what I'd recommend. seems there's lots of things to keep you occupied. and when you tire of it you can just buy the expansions.

Borderlands Game of the Year Addition, Demon's Souls, RDR, Fallout: NV all of these games are good and take a while to beat.

I wouldn't recommend RDR. I got bored of it quickly. A lot of people say its not GTA in the west but it is. If you like GTA then go for it... if not then I'd recommend BC2. Online is addicting and it has a decent SP.

You can't go wrong with Red Dead Redemption, its a truly epic game :)

Go with RDR. I've beat the storyline and played a little online. It was a well-paced, awesome adventure game. There is something about the wild frontier that keeps you entertained longer than GTA (which I stopped before I even started).

Need for Speed: HPalso looks interesting because I love the chase aspect. Haven't played it though so I can't speak for it.

Wow lots of choices... RDR, BFBC2, DS hmmm though one :o

get Demon's Souls.. that should keep you busy for awhile
