Sadly, I really haven't updated it much. I was looking at AC2 but I believed that AC1 was a bit too repetitive for my interest, is there a big change? I played GTA 4 and hated it, just a personal thing and played through RDR on the 360. Also own ME2 on the PC.

yes there is a BIG change from AC1 to AC2, it gets much less repetitive and the ezios story is just great, after playing AC2, your going to want to play brotherhood and revelations to finish it, itll get you hooked, trust me.Those are actually pretty good if you like conspiracy laden Illuminati type stories. I liked the way AC2 progressed and integrated with the puzzles. Not a terribly captivating narrative but at least it all stuck together well.
However, overall OP, I recommend getting a book. There are some decent stories in games but it's not really a storytelling medium. Whenever I hear someone rave about the story in a game, I either find it very tedious and contrived (anything by bioware) or really pretentious and overly-dramatic (gta4 or heavy rain).
When I want a good story, I turn to movies or literature.
And I'm not saying that it's impossible to have a good game with a good story, just that they keep trying to put a movie type story or a literature type story in games when really, they need to figure out how to tell a game type story. For example, I keep getting the feeling that Rockstar wants me to feel really bad for the chartacter that dies at the end of their games (it's kind of a pattern they've got going with their games of this gen) but it always feels rather contrived and forsed so they always end up making me laugh when I feel like they want me to cry.
