disgaea 4 (turn based rpg), demon souls, dark souls, battlefield bad company 2 and battlefield 1943 would be my choices :P
Any suggestions? Already have sank plenty of hours into skyrim, fallout 3. Not a big fan of the mass effect series. Open to suggestions. Thanks!diegosanchezMMA
Do you only like WRPGs or will you play JRPGs as well?
Kingdoms of Amalur, Dragon Age:Origins, Borderlands are all popular WRPGs that have alot of playtime in them.

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, now go on.
im sure if you go for 100% you can reach 150 hours with final fantasy 13campzorbut who in their right mind would want to play final fantasy 13 related garbage?
Try to get platinum in Star Ocean. 1000 hours. AdamPA1006
Yeah your 150 hours are a joke compared to the hundreds of hours of fun Star Ocean can offer. Anyone got the platinum for it ?? In that case I definitely would like you on my PSN friend list !!
Or 100% playing legitimately including dlc on Warhammer 40 000: Space Marine. I started October last year and still not done...

I'm gonna also say Star Ocean is really awesome and very underated on Gamespot. It's a really fun RPG and not at all would you would expect.
If your into old school rpgs, Wizardry : Labyrinth of Lost Souls is on PSN for $15. Great game, and hundreds of hours of dungeon crawling goodness. There is even a trophey for hitting the 200 hour mark in the game.
Resistance 2, trying to get that 10,000 kills trophy should eat up a lot of your time. H_M_1The Resistance series are some of the most generic shooters ever derived. I cannot think of a FPS more generic; even Halo. Resistance doesn't have any redeeming qualities, and the story (if it even has one) is so super minimalistic and just stupid). Played up to the part where you get to a prison type thing in the first and then just decided that the games suck. Especially since they're FPS.
Anyhow, I recommend to TC games that are not generic TP or FP shooties (or shootems, whichever you prefer to call them)
lol if you're refering to doing this via single player GOOD LUCK! i've rarely found a next gen game with which i can muster 7 hours of sp into, they just don't make them like that anymore, thank the multiplayer police for that one... but if u find one please let me know.

Whatever floats your boat dude. Stick to your crappy RPGs.Resistance series are the most generic games ever made.Yes, I will stick with games that have 50+ hours of things to do, exploration, customization, etc. RPGs are truly games since the good ones are designed to give you gameplay, unlike most current gen popcorn games that you play once or twice and are done with them. 60+ hours on Tales of Graces F, which the battle system is fan freaking tastic, and tons of exploration and customization. it's a very meaty game, unlike your bare bones shooties.
demon's and dark souls are obviously the 2 best games this gen. i just bought dragon age 1 for $5. thinking about dragon's dogma. maybe kingdoms of amalur once it hits the $15 mark... I dunno. these games just have more meat on them than the games you like. RPGs are truly games, where I don't even know what the F generic shooties (shootems?) are.
As others have suggested, try Fallout New Vegas.
I thought I would never like it as much as Fallout 3 but I ended up liking it more. 100+ hours so far and just starting the DLC quests.
Are Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas playable? All I read about them are game breaking glitches and bugs that freeze your system and such.enoroxYou just gotta save a lot, i finished it and have the GOTY supposed to be the worst of both. Finished 2/5 dlcs and worked just fine. They're not by any means unplayable, though my screen froze like 10 times in 100 hs.

[QUOTE="krayzieE99"]i really wish there was a starhawk demo. i hate paying $60 for a game and end up not liking it.hoot710They had multiplayer beta and blockbuster is your fiend, sometimes. i was gonna rent ir from blockbuster, but im afraid that the online will not work.

Someone didnt play final fantasy 13. It was a great game.
looks like you didn't play ff13, since it was wretched garbage since the 30 hour game was just a f-ing hallway with no options and no exploration. you have terrible taste in games.[QUOTE="19elderscroll86"]

Yeah i wouldn't bother with FF XIII and that comes from a FF fan...You didn't mention Fallout: New Vegas, so that's the only game I can think of that could possible provide you with 150+ hours worth of gameplay.

You remind me of my friend brian, he compares every game that comes out to an older game. You have to look at a game for what it is not what it compares to.

Doing what? I beat the game in about 45 hours and thats doing everything and discovering every location. That game was so dissapointing compared to 3.

i see what you're saying, but i expect jrpg and final fantasy elements to be in a final fantasy game, and final fantasy 13 was devoid of those elements. if fans love your games, you don't just change the games to something they don't like. square enix are backstabbing traitors and deserve to go bankrupt and i hope they get bought out by someone better. Please Log In to post.
