I'm in the market for a really good PS3 RPG. So far, I've been looking at Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Dragon Age. Borderlands at this point, for me, is out of the question. I'd rather wait for it to go GoTY... unless it never does, then I'll pick it up later.

Out of those three, which would you suggest? If none of those are appealing to you, I'm open to suggestions. I want to make the best decision possible.

If you're looking for a good, but very difficult RPG, you can't go wrong with Demon's Souls. ;)

Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, or Disgeae 3.

Of the three you mentioned, Borderlands, then Fallout, finally Oblivions if you must.

Sacred 2 if you're into top down-RPGs (like Diablo 2)

Valkyria Chronicles and Fallout 3 are both fantastic. Demon's Souls and Dragon Age are supposed to be pretty good too. Personally I'd avoid Oblivion, but it is a lot of fun if you go into it with the right mindset, it's just that it's levelling system is pretty damn broken.

I've heard good things about Demon's Souls. Is it worth the difficulty?

The difficulty is half of the charm.

Can't go wrong with Fallout 3 and Oblivion in my opinion. I put over 115+ hours into each. I've got 78 into Demon's Souls right now. It's really love and hate with that one.

Eternal Sonata? I truly disliked that game, though I played the 360 version without the neat bonuses.....

The writers gave up after "Chapter 1" of that game. They even run up to the fourth wall and indirectly address the player and tell him they're not ever gonna explain what the heck happened because it would be "too complex and we wouldn't understand it, so it's not necesary."

I like knowing if there's a coherent reason why I'm doing what I'm doing....I also like it when characters don't immediately forget about plot important charcters after they beat them in battle---I'm not sure if they even mentioned the main villian once in the main dialogue after they beat him.
