i am looking to buy some new games for my ps3. more specifically i am looking for some fun offline multiplayer games for the ps3. i dont have a clue on what game or games to get. i used to buy single player games but they are no fun to play when playing with friends at home. i dont care wether i have to use the playstation network or go to a store to buy it either. thanks for any advice.
You say you want fun multiplayer online eh...there just happens to be this awesome multiplayer game called Warhawk that I suggest you get NOW!!! Seriously, the game is so much fun I'm still playing it almost a year later and will probably play it for this whole gen
i am looking for an offline video game, online is not very fun to play with a group of people in your house. but thanks for the advice anyways, i might look into it
CoD4, R:fom, and SC4 all have good offline multiplayer. This might sound out of the box too but Haze has coop and also has bots for splitscreen offline multiplayer

did they ever make a patch for motorstorm that allowed multiplayer offline?

burnout paradise? im not quite sure bout ofline multiplayer. havent got the game . but i heard it's a pretty decent racer. im really excited for the new midnight club racer. should be sick. im pretty sure it have ofline multiplayer.

I dont know why I havent bought Burnout,, the demo is great (and apparently doesnt do full game justice at all).
If you want a good offline multiplayer,, id suggest NHL 09 when it comes out in a month. 08 was amazing (for 360, crappy slowdown on ps3 which ruined game),, and theyre gonna be equal. The Lego Star Wars game is also fun with another person and if you liked the xmen legends games, youll love marvel ultimate alliance.
When will they make a current gen Streets of Rage type game!?!?!?
Bionic Commando is coming out in 2 days, it's only 10$ and IGN gave it 9.4 and clearly said "there's no reason you should not get this game" It's offline multiplayer, it's quite simple (2d platformer) and looks like a lot.. i mean A LOT of fun.
