looks like we got another lair fiasco but this time its with heavenly sword

remember when people were trying to say lair was going to suck because the fire didnt look real:roll:. well it looks like we got another bunch of littile girls trying to say that stunning game that is heavenly sword is going to be stupid because devolpers are not goign to put blood in the game and took out the spear impaling thing. im still going to get it though because if you watch the trailer you can see that their has never been any blood in the game and its still going to be a breath taking gameistayonfireboy

i stop buying T rated action game eversince i played GOW, so i think ill pass on HS but the game does look sweet. BTW nothing can top the FIRE in NGS 

i don't think i'll get HS if there is no blood. i know that may sound weird or stupid to some people but where is the realism in that? i personally wouldn't be able to take the game seriously; not in that kind of setting and atmosphere the game seems to have.

If you refuse to buy a game because it lacks blood or because its not rated M you may have some serious problems.

I'm pretty sure most females can do that, they just don't want to show off their mad skillz.

more realistic than no blood from getting chopped up by shard blades, lol, i'm sorry, i'm not saying that blood is required for a game to be good, i love games like jak and daxter and ratchet and clank. but you don't expect blood with those kind of games, for HS it seems it should imo

Actually, HS not having blood in it makes me interested in it a little more. Look at DMC3 ... you don't see a ton of blood there, yet all you do is kill stuff in that, and that was a great game.

As for God Of War, honestly it has so much blood (and nudity) in it that it just becomes cheesy after a while. I mean, sure things bleed when you cut them, but in GoW, they gush blood in ways that would make the blood spurts in anime seem conservative.

And as for the fact that a lack of blood takes from realism ... in a video game ... I don't think I even have to address that, it's ridiculous enough on its own.

Wait a second....when you said that they took out the spear impaling thing, is that when you throw a spear at someone and steer it by tilting the controller?  I hope that's not what you mean because I was really looking forward to doing that.

Anyways, who cares if there's no blood and guts.  Have you guys ever played Prince of Persia:  Sands of Time?  It didn't have blood and guts but wow, what a game that was.

oh and and for anyone that says this game is going to suck because their's no blood or gore lets remember that shining gem we call freedom fighters. you were shooting nazis and their was no blood and people loved that game. to be serious alot of people consider that to be one of the best games made.istayonfireboy

I don't think I would even notice the lack of blood... Still believe that it should be in the game even though it does not make\break the game if it does not.

Realisim? LOL.  It's all about escapisim by doing the impossible on your games console.  Becoming a great sportmans or warrior, etc, etc.  It's like saying GTA is no good because you can carry multiple weapons at once and never see any of them until you equip them.

I agree, no blood doesnt mean a thing to me. The game looks great, will probably play great and thats what matters. Those who dont want it because of the blood thing is like saying no to the PS3 because it didnt come with an HDMI cable. And thats just plain silly. bob_dartagnan

Well I think this was a really smart decision on the developer's part b/c no blood does mean something to them. It means that alot of moms are gonna be able to buy this game for their kids who are still in middle school n/or in highschool. BTW this game does look awsome and the feel of no blood will make this game alot more accessible to younger people and make alot more sales.

As long as the gameplay is good, I can care less that there isn't any blood.

I'm glad somebody finally mentioned Prince of Persia. I absolutely loved the original, but I honestly passed on the sequels once the developers went for the more gory-"overly bad-ass" approach. I felt that it took away from the game and, if I didn't know any better, I'd say they were entirely different games! Not that I don't like gore, believe me, I love games like Soldier of Fortune and Gears of War. Same thing goes for Timesplitters. I loved the first two games, but the developers went for the blood route for the third game and I'd say it feels a lot different to shoot dozens of small little monkeys and have no blood, but then shoot dozens more in the next game and have pools of gore around the monkeys' bodies...Quina919

Played firt prince of persia.. loved it .. second one? .. could not even complete it.

Timesplitters 2 on the other hand.. That is probably one of the most played games by me ever.. I had 149\150 characters and every trophy on either gold or platinum except one..which was bronze..

Never bought timesplitters 3 because my ps2 broke down before it released and seeming as the ps3 would have come out on nov.17 in europe...*sighs* nevermind 

In a game that revolves around non-stop killing, it seems out of place to not have any blood. But it's not gonna stop me from buying the game, it looks awesome regardless.ColoradoKindBud
