Buy a new faceplate (of matching to previous), get a new LCD screen if it's a bothering you. And for the replacement nub, just google it, or go to a decent local store xD and good on you for hookin that kid!

Usually portable gaming devices are not allowed to be taken to school...and if your school accepts that you take them, I am surprised.  Whether you're allowed or not though, I highly recommend that you leave the device at home from now on to avoid situations like these.  Taking it to school is a very unwise idea as there are too many inmature kids who have no morals and thus no fear of hurting others.  You're actually VERY lucky that you got your PSP back in any condition, trust me.

what a story.. makes me wanna slap you and that kid.  you for making someone get their hands on your psp.. and the kid for destroying a perfectly good psp.. he could have sold it and get some money if he was smart.. but he had to be stupid and mess it up and leave it under a garbage can.. this story just ruined my day.. this really sounds like some elementary school 4th grade stuff.

man.. do a SEARCH for EXTRA BUTTON KIT for the psp. its cheaper if you buy it online than in a store. i paid 15 bucks in a store.

My school allows them. I just keep my PSP in my locker.

Glad it worked out for you.  In my opinion though, I wouldn't buy them based off the reviews...

My friend lost his analog nub. So what he did was he went to a Best Buy PSP display unit, and uh... played around with the game demos.... when he walked away the demo unit was missing it's analog nub.

To answer your question, try this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LH3XAQ/103-8377115-1590258

These are the exact same size as the original analog controller that comes on the PsP. I ordered some a few months ago and they work great. The company is also really quick about shipping them out. I got my order in about 2 days.

You can find some PSP repair parts here, my brother and I got some faceplates from them that came with a button set, I think they sell the analog sticks by themselves too.

I'm not trying to be a prick but you shouldn't have taken your PSP to school.

That's your problem.
