I was playing my psp and there was a loud noise comming from the psp.I know about how the psp makes noises when its loading so I was wondering what the noise was.My psp is still working.

It happens to everyone. I guess it's the UMD trying to slow down and speed back up or something. I want it to stop as well.

Yeah, nothing to worry about, it happens to everyone, just the UMD speeding up and slowing down. The best way to drown out the noise would be to play with the headphones on.

Turn the UMD cache on, it helps a little.

It's just the laser moving to read the UMD. It happens for everyone.
