Madden 08, NCAA 08 fps Question. Smart people please...

assuming people know about the frames per second difference with the 360 and ps3 in madden and ncaa, heres the question...

I got a hdtv that tops out at 1080i. 1080i runs at 30 fps, right? And i got both a 360 and a ps3. either console i get the game for, it would still look the same at 1080i, right?

assuming you have a bionic eye and can decern even the slightest of differences, will there be a difference in graphics?

im sick of microsoft bc my console has broken 4 times but i want the best game i can get

As far as I know the lower the res the better the fps but 1080i doesnt necessarily mean u can get only 30 fps. Usually if u dumb down the res u get a better frame rate. FPS should also depends on the processing speed of the processor along with the lack of bottlenecking of the pipes in the vid card. No?

If u want better graphics...bump up da res..anti antilasing..hdr..etc. Frame rate will suffer but at 1080i on a console? Ucould get 60 fps but thats depending on the coding of the game too along w/ da other factors I mentioned.

I did read madden, ncaa etc will only run at 30fps, and the 360 versions will be 60 fps. Honestly I dont know why the ps3 cant do 60 fps like the 360 version. Spec wise it should.

No. There wont be a diff in graphics but the game will not run as smooth at 30 fps if it did running at 60 fps.
