 Oh the Madden curse .. how it make me laugh every year ..

Favre deserves to be on the cover regardless of whether or not he is retiring .. and remember Favre can't be hurt .. ;)

*Movie guy voice* The Packers are in turmoil. They've all but turned Brett Favre away. There is only one guy who can save them. That man is Aaron Rodgers, *Shows Rodgers fumbling the ball off of a snap*and he sucks :P.

Favre was on the cover because he was a legend retiring .. he's been in every Madden since the first one 20 years ago .. he was a perfect choice .. to bad all this crap had to go down.

I guess EA is hoping to break the curse by putting a retired player on the cover this time. After all, if he's not playing in the NFL anymore, how can it really ruin his season? It is quite the phenomena though just how the "Madden curse" seemed to start and how it has managed to stay true thus far. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what will happen to Brett this season.

Hopefully he will trip and tear his ACL while walking on the side lines. I hate Brett Favre. I got tired of him carving up the Bears all those years. Go Madden Curse!!!

I think if they offered me a madden cover, I wouldn't take it. Even though I'm not a football player.

He has not been in every madden since 20 years ago that means he would be 18 but he was in every madden when they started adding names

and who knows there is talk of him coming back. If i was the packers i would stop dealing with his bs and trade for as high as a draft pick as possible. they would be lucky if they got a 3rd round draft pick for him

I know the sport may be unrelated, but kind of the same curse.

For quite some time now (before the new change) EVERYBODY they gave the World Heavyweight Championship Belt to on WWE Smackdown, got injured (for real).

I don't think this is isolated. I think quite a few things us guys watch, have this sort of "curse" one way or another. Same as they were talking about the "Chunky Soup Curse" Every NFL player that did the Campbell's Chunky Soup commercials, always had some kind of a problem too.

LOL. Cambell Soup commerical. You got a point about that and I didn't notice that one. (Just love clowning my bro about McNabb. lol.) But Hester turn out ok and help me out big time in my fantasy football league. SWEET!!!!

Oh and all this going on is all Brett fault. Hey didn't speak his mind (if he didn't want to be there.), couldn't make up his mind ( I'm nots sure if I'll play next year.) and now can't stick with his decision. Don't get me wrong but brett is holding back the Packers and was holding them back the past two year due to lack of decision making skills. And when he made one early the Packers was able to make the move to move on. Now it is to late. I'm sick and tired of seeing this on sportcenter and nfl network. He need to accept that life move on and that he can't play forever.

It's so obnoxious when all these sports teams keep trying to offer us contracts and madden covers, ya know? And I swear, if Michael Jordan calls me one more time to give me an endorsement deal for his shoes, I'm going to get angry.

I think Micheal Vick can vouch for both of them......
