Agreed. I won't be buying it because it looks like it's boring. It attracts people with it's massive battles, but it seems to me like a lot of running and capturing and being absolutely bored. I'm just gonna wait for BFBC2.

I think it'll be quite popular, it's another option to those who like their FPS titles.

Its popularity and quality is going to comparable to Warhawk back in the day.

Since I'll be playing nothing else (yet... mwahahaha..) I'l pick it up, "meh" or not.

I'm in the extended Beta and while I think it's good in concept from an organizational standpoint, there's no way it will be as good in practice. Here's looking forward to a 256 player Call of Duty/Counterstrike fiasco.

I feel this game is an important landmark. Huge shooter games are the future the closer it gets to war, the more people will like it.

Of course the first game will be filled with glitches and freezes. But my late 2010 I expect a huge follow up to this game.

I played the beta a little bit and it was quite possibly the most boring FPS I have ever played. I couldn't extract any enjoyment out of it. I'll just stick to MW2, Halo, and KZ. I say BUSTO!

I haven't had alot of time with it, so I'm kinda in the middle, BUT my spidey senses are telling me that it's "NOT" a must buy.

Cant really say since ive never got the chance to play it but by the looks of it im going to say bust.

I haven't taken part in the beta but when it comes out if it looks good I will buy it.

neither....whoever gets it gets it....whoever doesnt doesnt....now its probably going to be pretty good, heck ive payed the beta and i enjoy it.....but it probably wont get too many sales that it deserves due to the fact that games like MW2 and BFBC2 are coming out

by then bayonetta will be out so i really don't care.

i played the beta, and for me its pretty lame. i'll stick with kz2 and mw2 for my fps needs.

I enjoy Bad Company 2's Beta tons more (it's downright my best online gaming experience ever) but still, MAG's a Day 1 buy for me. I'm not oblivious to its flaws but I'm having a great time with it.

Bust i played the beta and the games take WWWAAAYYY too long to start and its just a hassle. gameplay is kinda crummy too

Completely agree. As of now(beta-wise) it's a bust. Graphics are blah-city(not looking for MW2 visuals now, I know it's a 256-players game...but it can still look better than a PS2 title) and it takes waaaaaayyyyy to long to kill a person(24 bullets to the chest and still running around....yeah unrealistic) plua Im not a fan of having to switch to my grenades to throw them(leaving me vulnerable to enemy gunfire...oh wait, If I only get hit 23 times Ill live). Plus a few more annoying quirks.Yes i know this is a beta, but I remember playing the socom beta and it had so many issues then the game released it still suffered from them. This game need a lot of work in the current state it is in and I hope the developers do not leave it in its current state. I'll cast final judgment when it releases(hopefully they fixed all the issues by then)

I have (had) the beta. I really wanted to like it. It's a shame.

But no matter what I did or how I played, I just could not get into it.

The gunplay feels terrible and dated. It is also a rather ugly game, but I do understand that sacrifice has to be made somewhere along the line to allow such large games.

I'm on the beta and let me tell you... i don't like it. like a 4/10, seriously. A waste of time.

Itll be a good game, but not a must buy.

I won't buy it. MAG has the terrible misfortune of being released in the same year as the next battlefield game. BFBC2 will be the only online shooter I need for next year. I still play 1943 regularly and have been playing the beta like crazy. I'm also getting into MW2 a little. I won't need any other fps games until at least 3rd quarter

After being in it since the closed beta, I think it will be ok, not incredible nore horrible, but it will be average.

I played it and...ehh. It's a little too boring. you spend more time hunting enemies than anything, then when you meet in the middle, you do a bit of shooting, then it's back to searching. I noticed VERY LITTLE teamwork taking place, so I figure I will wait for Bad Company 2 to come out, in the mean time I enjoyed the Bad Company 2 beta more than MAG. People actually play team-based on there.

It's a different game. Seeing so many people sometimes makes it difficult who to kill. You are running toward someone then to find another enemy even closer. Gets Chaotic and fun. The graphics are not too good but it's a fun game.

Well, imo, its a Bust. The game has tons of potential. The interface is great, the "PMC" stuff is also amazing, squad points, and leadership points, awards for successfully following orders instead of doing what you please. The upgrades. Everything is great, everything is AAA material. Except 1 thing. GAMEPLAY.

The game has a severe lacklusting gameplay. Its old, badly aged. Guns have little to no recoil, and no feedback on the controller. I have no problem with the game trying to go slowly as KZ 2, but at least have a gameplay that goes with it.

Sadly, gameplay wise the game is not cutted for a 2010 release. More like a 2005 release.

Its not a must buy for me but I hope its not a bust.

Bust. Huge let down honestly.

I had ONE game where I played with someone mature and who didn't scream into the headset. The graphics are crap, I'm not graphic whore but it really takes away from the experience when your grenade looks like a piece of plastic. I got extremely frustrated when I found out I couldn't jump over a wall at knee level, then I was shot while trying to jump it in disbelief that they wouldn't allow you to get over such a small height. The controls could be much better. All around what this game is trying to do, battlefield does better.

Only difference is 256 people which I must say I can't even notice. yep, huge let down.

My next fps was between MAG and bad company 2, bad company wins by miles and miles.

I think it's a very weak/cheap version of Battlefield with more players. As expected with a dev like Zipper Interactive I guess..

Bust. Horrible graphics and the gameplay seem very boring with bland environments. Not impressed. Felt like I was playing R2 coop for some reason with worst controls.

Judging by the beta i say scores in the range of 60/100 are very probable. It has 256 players... Stuck on a map a little bigger then a KZ2 map from my observations. The maps are poorly layed out with no progress, no real way to do anything else then run into a huge firefight and hope you can kill someone fast enough etc.

If they would increase the size of the maps it would prolly be 8-9 worthy, but now its just like playing BF2 with 64 players on a 16 player map.
