WHAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a sexy looking ass game!! 256 players, huge map that looks very urbanized. I like urban maps, because CQB is my thing. Phew, there were rumors that it'd be a 3rd person shooter... haha that woulda killed it.
If you see the pic w/ the Paratroopers, thats most likely real people not background aesthetics to make it look cool! So you can enter the battle ground via Air, or you can shoot them down.

Well in one screen did you notice all those paratroopers jumping from the plane? Maybe that one way to enter the game by parachuting in? Probably you can enter battle that way. Imagine if you want to spawn in a different section of the battlefield you parachute into the new area. That would be sick.
I hope not....That would be a very bad idea. Sooo many people would be turned off by this. I've played 3 mmos at the same time ($45/month) so it wouldnt be that big of a deal for me, but for just casual gamers...

Honestly a game of this scale has enough justification for a monthly subscription. I wouldn't mind at all. I do see the potential outrage it could cause though for other people.
Looks about Socom Level Graphics, I get its 256 players, but its not that great looking, nothing to special at all....I doubt I'd like this game, I like the closeness of Socom, I hated Socom 3, way to big....shoulda made this 3rd Person like Socom, but with 256 players
To be honest is 256 players really needed? The more people there are then the bigger the maps. It will feel only slightly different from a 32 player game with a scale of a 32 game. I have played games with 16 ----> 64 people. And they all feel the same really. But I will proably buy mag anyway. :)
Lets not forget people we are talking about zipper here....i mean with these guys (if they stick to the same addictive formular) should get the best of both worlds...keep this in mind EVERY SOCOM GAME developed by zipper incorporated both third and first person view...so that 3/3 stat lets me sleep a little easier @ nite....next i must hope that they dont charge a fee like crappy PC MMO's.....fingers crossed

If onlive can do it, im sure there wont be that many problems. Also, the graphics look amazing, better than many games out at the moment. I have every faith in zipper.
