Not my cup of tea. Uncharted is going to be incredible! Maybe we'll see FF7 REMAKE!

Honestly, I love the idea of MAG, but what's holding me back is the eventual waves of people on PSN who just go commando, fragging and doing whatever they want instead of acting like a team and being tactical.
That is what most online shooters end up being. They are only a few games where random people work together.Honestly, I love the idea of MAG, but what's holding me back is the eventual waves of people on PSN who just go commando, fragging and doing whatever they want instead of acting like a team and being tactical.

Maybe this is the game that brings teamwork back to what it was of the past.
this is why i can't really get into oline games. maybe this on will be different.Honestly, I love the idea of MAG, but what's holding me back is the eventual waves of people on PSN who just go commando, fragging and doing whatever they want instead of acting like a team and being tactical.

The HUD looks to jam-packedThe graphics are awful, doesn't look like a PS3 exclusive. I won't be getting it now.

im still iffy about this one... didnt really get to see that much, but im still not to happy with the sony press conference as a whole!TrevCubsOr21No Rising???
Yup I agree And what happeneds if you commander is a cracked out 11 year old buzzing off of red bull. To everyone complaining about graphics to be fair they ar running 256 players so of course the graphics wont be the best ever. Besides they have 5 to 6 more months to add polish to make it look better so expect at least a little of a graphics boost.Honestly, I love the idea of MAG, but what's holding me back is the eventual waves of people on PSN who just go commando, fragging and doing whatever they want instead of acting like a team and being tactical.

the game is huge and it didn't lag.. i willsay, it's not what i expected seemed kind of boring if you're the guy leading.. the whole going commando is going to be an huge issue.. not sure if it keeps stats or what not.. but it is an online shooter so expect the campers and that.. seems great if you have 8 people you know and play with.. but playing with random people might make this game a flop..
it is zipper so i have hopes..
From the perspective we were shown, it looks like it plays more like an RTS with actual people rather than an actual FPS. The demoer barely even shot anyone else the entire time! If they can manage to organize all 256 players, it'll have a lot of potential, but I highly doubt that's possible. But we'll just have to wait and see.
Even if I, personally, didn't think it looked THAT bad, I don't care that much for how it looks. Gameplay is where it's at and MAG looks really fun and engaging. Can't wait!

I'm getting tired of people crying that the graphics don't look good enough... Anyone that understands anything about networking and memory footprints knows that in order to make something this epic certain things have to be lowered a little bit. Would you want a realistic looking game that cracked every time more then two explosions were happening, so thank you for pointing that out before I checked on the forum... As for the 11 year old part for the commander, he'd have to be a skilled 11 year old because you have to level up to certain levels in order to obtain commanding roles in the game. And the only way you can level up on a consistent basis is to follow the commanding officers orders and stay with your squad... If anyone can figure out a way to keep run and gun idiots in check it's zipper, and I for one am getting this game on day 1
We'll have to see how much the point/experience incentives work when you play along the squad leader. Silverdragon17
It will probably play like Battlefield 2142 which is a very awesome game.
[QUOTE="LP4EVA2005"]the HUD was to crowded with a lot of crap..that turned me off.Jayvan_JJyea, what I had said earlier...why so much?
The guy narrating the action said that was the view of one of the Platoon leaders screens, they have all those symbols to decide what the next necessary objective was... This way they can choose the objective on the fly and not back out to a map screen in the midst of battle, I'm sure all regular players don't have every symbol on the HUD like the commanders do.

Well, in a Zipper interview they said that you don't really gain any points if you stray from the pack. You get double and triple bonuses just for staying with the group and following orders. You also get special badges and unlockable weapons and what not for team participation. SO there is a lot of incentive to be a teamplayer. Hopefully its enough to keep the kiddies in line. But honestly......... Nothing ever is. :([QUOTE="hillelslovak"][QUOTE="jfcundiff"] [QUOTE="hillelslovak"][QUOTE="jfcundiff"][QUOTE="Legendaryscmt"]

Lair had great graphics and it was a fantastic game
Interesting. I thought it looked terrible BEFORE the E3 footage, but the demo actually made it look more appealing to me. raven_squadYeah, same here. Did you guys see how big that map was? That's crazy.
MAG does look terrible. I mean, online games like that don't demo well, but it looks particularly boring. Does the world really need another shooter, especially one that needs to pump the player limit up to distinguish itself from others?DJ_LaeYou're missing the point of MAG... It's not trying to stand out with a big player count. It's a shooter that's trying to be more squad based, tactical, and teamwork oriented as opposed to 90% of other shooters out there which are individuals running and gunning. Even SOCOM has its share of running and gunning...

I think Mag looks great.

:lol::lol:...I don't think so!
Congrats, you have an opinion....would you like a cookie? We can laugh at you in return while you eat it...:roll:Was that pointed at me or at vj02? :?
I was really psyched for this game, 256 players with levels of command, AWESOME. Then today, I saw how the shooting worked; that looks like more stupified COD4 shooting. I really hate how simplistic it seemed. Guns have recoil, I guess after COD2, most devs forgot about that. I can't stand how point and click it is. Which is why I will probably still be playing Killzone 2 when MAG comes out.

vj02, he's the one who apparently thinks his opinion is worth more than others.I think the concept is great, but in the end I think it's going to be a disaster. The last online game I played where people actually worked together and comunicated was R:FoM...the first one. Now you're lucky if you've got one person on your squad who even uses a mic.
