MAG: "You're not gonna be charged a subscription fee."

I just watched the newest On The Spot and they talked to Shaun McInnis who got to interview a developer for MAG. Dedicated servers were confirmed "around the world", but another big important question asked was, "Do you just need to buy the disc or will MAG have a monthly subscription fee?"

"MAG is quite about as big as a lot of MMOs, but you're not gonna be charged a subscription fee like a lot of MMOs. Yeah, you just buy the game, you've got your free Playstation Network account, you pop it in. You're playing right away. No monthly fee for MAG."

Sorry if this has been mentioned already. I just knew that at one point there was concern from gamers that were interested about there being fees for the game given the size and scope of it.

Good news for those that heard the rumor of monthly fees and were turned off to the game.

they said the same thing in a Q&A session at one of the game conventions recently but its good to hear confirmation.

That has been known for a while, the thing is will i want to pay $60 for the game? :P

I'm not paying subscription fee for a FPS game that can be substituted with other AAA FPS games easily.

The developers made a good decision.

Yeah I already saw it. However, I'm still glad to hear it a second time for some reason.

bad news. they need to charge for this that way only serious players will be in.
