I bought MAg the day it came out and played it a ton. Then two weeks later, I soon discovered how shallow of a game it is. Its aOK game, but not a great one. However, if you have 5 or 6 friends that buy it, it makes it much better. Is it worth $60? Id sayno especially when you consider that BFBC 2 is also very team oriented but has the graphics and sound to go with it. Then there are the recent rumors that Zipper/Sony will soon be charging a monthly fee to play MAG as it runs on dedicated servers which are very expensive to keep up. Id say get BFBC 2 for now and then maybe over the Summer pick up MAG if you still want to try it.

Its definitly worth it, its ton of fun to play and very addicting. And the level of team work in MAG, will over shadow the bit of team work in BC2. I'm sorryto the guys that want to hate on MAG and claim to love bc2, but seriously the amount of down time in bc2 to get to the action or waiting on the action, is extremely boring. AFter all it is only 12vs12 on a huge map. And winning in MAG feels so satisfying, while winning on BC2 just feels well ok we won kind of feel. But it also has the oppisite effect, when you lose in MAG it gets personal and you start to hate the other faction (not person) but faction that seems to beat you all the time, and this is when you start seeing what MAG is all about.

Someone said MAG is shallow, I couldn't disagree more. MAG is prolly one of the deepest gameplay experiences around. People who claim MAG is shallow prolly are the ones that go after the burnoff towers til the end of the Match instead of hitting the bunkers to cut off troop supplies. They are the same ones that go after the sensor arrays when behind enemy lines instead of blowing up the AA's so the oic can get paratroopers in or he can start bombing runs. Cause the AA battery you know can SHOOT down your aircraft. Yea MAG is very shallow:roll:

Now yes MAG does need some new maps even though the maps on Domination give you different envioroments depending on your spawn, hence giving you a feel of a different map. But once they do start putting out new locations and maybe some neutral ground to fight on this game can feel like its limitless on what can be done map wise or even gameplay wise.

Battlefield bad company seems promising but wait till enough reviews come out and if some of your friends buy the game aswell. If the reviews are positive then there is no reason to not wait for it to come out. However MAG is very fun but the only downside is that there is no single player.

MAG is really good. Is is the only place you get to experience 256 player games and trust me, they are worth it.

If you have friends that also play it, consider it. If not, I'd go with BFBC 2 if I were you.

See none of my friends have MAG and I know that no one will buy it because they are stuck on MW2 and Uncharted right now. I think ill probably go with BFBC2. I just got done with the demo and i think it could be a ton of fun if you get a squad of people who are each different type of soldier. I still would like to play MAG but i guess I'll have to wait until i find it on clearance at target. Seems like a game that might make it there fast, not because it sucks but because i dont think it will sell as well as some other multiplayers out there.

My 60 hours or so of gameplay says that it is!

I enjoy the game and only think the community will get stronger once some more fps games come out. Team work is funnnn and a change on console gaming.
