I just find it funny that Sony is advertising the Psp after almost 6 years.Fightingfanyea i agree, why are they promoting psp now? i can understand when it first came out but after 6 years? lol
Why is that guy transparent? Also, how does minibraided mullet come off on another persons appearance? Look, I might concur that Marcus isn't the ideal marketing tool for PSP, but I'm just glad it's finally getting some attention after some long long years of complete neglect.. ANY advertising is good advertising on this point. STEP YO GAAAAME UP, foo'.Daavpuke
i agree, i'm desperate to see my main console getting some attention, i'm happy with the "step yo game up" motto as long as it draws attention.

well to start off, the psp is still fairly active in terms of sales, plus it is none the less a current gen console. so technically, it was never "dead". they just started to give it attention as strange as it sounds, but it's only logical to do so.

It seemed dead for quite a while though. I've had one since launch and only now am I hearing of some good titles. I didn't play my psp for at least 2 years and almost sold it.yea i agree, why are they promoting psp now? i can understand when it first came out but after 6 years? lol[QUOTE="LP4EVA2005"][QUOTE="Fightingfan"] I just find it funny that Sony is advertising the Psp after almost 6 years.blazblue152

It's a PS2 handheld gen. Shabby. And it's had some horrible years. If it wasn't for Japan, Sony would have given up and made a better portable or focus on the beast that is the PS3Seen it, I just find it funny that Sony is advertising the Psp after almost 6 years. It already lost to the DS they need to preb up for the 3DS.Fightingfan
Yeah I have to say that I find it really odd that the marketing here is geared at saying that PSP games are better than mobile phone apps. It's almost like they're saying, "well we can't compete against the DS so what else is out there that we might have a shot at?"

Its getting the new adds due to all the new stuff on PSN that was not there for the PSP in 2008. I have absolutely no beef with the Marcus kid and people that do have some serious issues. I often have to wonder where that hatred seed is planted from and what part of the country these "annoyed" gamers live at. The PSP was underhyped, and I think Sony should have killed their support for the PS2 in 2007.
I don't think that this will really make sense considering this is a system that came out years ago, so how is this stepping my game up? Don't get me wrong I like my psp and all but with Nintendo having a new system on the way wouldn't that be what stepping our game up would be? I also think it's funny when he makes fun of the game where someone throws something in trash as something that could be done IRL for free and then displays a baseball game on the PSP, that can't be done in real life???
Sony's been putting an emphasis lately on their consoles doing everything. "Stepping the game up" in this case just means being able to take advantage of all it has to offer. PS3= blu-ray, wifi, web browser, music, movies. PSP = skype phone, music player, remote play, etc etc, blah blah blah, yada yada yada

We don't have issues. We just find the brat incredibly annoying.
