I have it and a it's a pretty fun game. I bought it so I could play with my friends when they came over. You can rent it and see if you like it, then buy it. :)
i thought it was alright, i wont be picking it up for PS3 but it was fun while i played it, some people may say its awesome, some may say it sucks, but i thought it was pretty decent
If you liked the X-Men Legends series (which I did), it's definitely worth a buy. If not, you'll probably be happier just renting it (as it tends to get repetitive)
Yea, found some vids, nothing too impressive, but definitely worth a rent. Then a buy if I like it(which I probably won't since Obvlivion,motorstorm, and armored core 4 are copming out in march).
stay away from this game, it plays at like 10 frames per second, not many combos, graphics arent that great, but mainly cause the performance is really bad, 10 fps, i would stay away.

It was SURPRISINGLY fun. I rented it about a week ago, and I was thinking of buying it. The first level doesn't do teh game justice, mind you. The later levels are he11a varied...I was just shocked that the later levels were SO different from the first few levels...it really looks like a lot of work went into the game. The actual gameplay is VERY solid, and it's hard to find fault in it besides it getting repetitive (which will only happen if u die, and u have to start from a checkpoint WAY back in ur progress...other than that, the varied environments WILL keep u interested). I'm not a Marvel fan, and I hardly even paid attention to the story, but even then I STILL had fun, which is saying a lot. I was just surprised that this game ACTUALLy turned out to be fun lol...usually these games are crap to me.
This game is X-Men Legends III: Ultimate Alliance. Instead of X-Men, you get characters from all around the Marvel universe. I liked the X-Men Legends series, and this game is better than the two before it, but it doesn't do much to set itself apart. It's also VERY poorly programmed. There are attacks that just don't do what they're supposed to do. I've had characters get stuck in or behind objects. The AI is the worst I've seen in years. The graphics of the environments are great, but the character models look just like their last generation counterparts, except much more shiny. As my friend (who absolutely LOVES this game) put it, it's like the game was never play tested before its release.
