I am very excited! However the article here on GS says it is not getting a HD face lift like Street Fighter did. It just says online MP, and a feature to help smooth graphics out so they dont look that bad on an HD set. The demo is coming this thursday or next thursday so we can check it out then!

It will be in HD with a feature to also enhance Widescreen displays. Anyways, I already knew about this and it sounds great. :)

thought they said no HD remix only thing they added was online multiplayer, so u can vs other ppl online. other than that same graphics, barely any tweaks. but im still happy cuz i never owned this game, played at a friends house alot and the arcades but never owned it cuz i cant find the damn game and when i did its over 80 bucks, so this is also for those who complain that 15 is alot lol id take it with a cherry on top lol

wow. i feel sory for my one friend at work.. he bought MvsC2 like 2 or 3 months ago for 80 dollars i think. ps2 version.
i also own the ps3 version. but hey i might buy this on off the psn if its cheap anuff just for the online support.. plus all the charaters are unlocked right from the gek go witch is very nice. i still probably have 15 or so people to unlock on the ps2 version

As for the gameplay mechanics, here's to hoping it's arcade perfect. Sven said that it would use the Naomi code, so it's pretty much confirmed arcade perfect.
This game is a lot more than what most people here think. Wait until you get double snapped and both of your assists get KO'd at the start of the round, or until you get caught in infinites. :lol:

do you think it will have options for custom music? i don't really care if they redraw the sprites or not but the only thing i didn't care for in the game was their choice for the music.

Yes I do, I'd much rather they spend their time on it, than just port it over, SFIITHDR spoiled me. But I may end up purchasing this. Although, I honestly have so many games on my to play list, that if i were to follow through with that list, I'd be fine until 2011. I don't know if I would even have time to play this, other than a few hours and then probably never touch it again. Depends if my friends want it. Regardless its still good news.

Sweet hit the hammered the nail right on the head ;) Back on topic, $15 is a steal for this game. First time I played this was in the arcade and loved it.
