Awesome hopefully they don' t mess it up like did with the PSN/XBLA port of MvC2 with the dumb four button configuration. Also, I hope they don' t make it difficult for us to pull of specials like SFIV and the port of MvC2 did.

My System Wars senses are telling me NOT to trust VGchartz.

So I will do so until I hear it from a more credible source.

I ******* hated MvC2, Worst waste of 15 Dollars ever.

The Trophies were impossible to get and blocking just pissed me off.

Although MVC3 sounds cool, I have to stop sucking at MVC2 before I go out and buy it. Then again, I think this source isn't reliable.

Well, as I've posted in other threads. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix promoted Street Fighter 4 as Marvel vs Capcom 2's re-release would be to Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Used to love the first game in the arcade.

Of coarse, characters from Rival Schools, Street Fighter 3 and 4 have to make the cut.

I hope to god that it's going to be 2D, hand-drawn graphics. BlazBlue is a great example of a 2D hand-drawn fighting game done right. Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 would lose all of it's charm if it went 3D and god knows how high my expectations are for this game. BlazBlue: CS will still be my main fix for a 2D fighter, but we can't deny the pure fun of Marvel Vs. Capcom.

Maybe not. I've played them via other means and they're extremely limited (aside from Cyber Akuma of coarse). So you would make a sacrifice playing as them and it's just "one character" vs 3. But, if not "playable" then have them all like the Street Fighter 2 bosses via Balrog, Vega, Sagat then Bison.

Have 7 stages to fight and four boss stages. Apocalypse, then Onslaught. Then Abyss and finally, whatever super boss MVC3 will have. Facing Cyber Akuma can be done ala Shin Gouki in Street Fighter Alpha 2. Get a certain amount in your score or something before the final boss, he challenges you.

But I think playing as them can be pulled off without nerfing anybody. Especially when it's three guys vs one.

If you mean in terms of popularity I can see your point.

But in terms of gameplay LOL NO.

it's fun but isn't balanced, street fighter 2 i can agree with though but just super turbo.

cant freakin wait. the only thing that has me slightly worried is the sf4 style. dont get me wrong, i luved sf4 but i think mvc needs to b 2D. and yea like the other guy said...blaz blue is a perfect example of wut id like it to look like. hi-res 2D. but either way, im sure itll b awsum.

i vote for hi-res hand drawn 2D graphics. get a classic artist to do em too. like texierra. and there really not going to blow my mind unless theres over 150 characters. both universes are that expansive. imagine how big the game could be if it was a ps3 exclusive.
