Here is a Pic i found that shows a game menu with the PS3 "X" on the indication.
I repeat, this is not cofirmed, it could even be a fan or something who has done this but it is a hint, only time will tell if its real

INTERESTING!
I had heard rumor of a PS3 port, but I thought nothing of it. That little screen shot; fan made or not is quite intriguing. *Crosses fingers*
Where'd you find this? And its hosted on imageshack. Here is a Pic i found that shows a game menu with the PS3 "X" on the indication.

EDIT: And it looks photoshopped.
Yeah that's what I'm thinking.I'm not usually one to jump ship and call FAKE, but that X is looking a little sketchy.

Doesn't appear Photoshopped to me, and trust me I'm a certified Graphic Designer; So I use Photoshop about 5+ hours a day. If that's fake then someone has done one HELL of a job. I'll take a close look, but thanks for spoiling my mood.
You know.... the X360 controller also has an X-button? Just sayin...ExardiousDoesnt look like that.
You know.... the X360 controller also has an X-button? Just sayin...ExardiousFail. 1) It doesn't look like that. 2) I've played that ME1 add-on (Forget the name) and you press A to continue.
Mass Effect on the PS3 will NEVER happen, so get over it!
That's like saying the Xbox360 will get Killzone or Uncharted which that will NEVER happen either!
ghstbstr
i think u need to learn the difference between first party and third party developers

Well, my point is either way it WON'T happen so again I say get over it!
Wait a sec, weren't you the guy who was asking if he should buy Conflict denied ops or Damnnation? I am pretty sure Mass Effect 2 will hit the PS3 one day. People said the same thing about the following. Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean 4, Tales of Vesparia. I would love to see your future proof that ME2 will not hit the PS3 one day. Cause my dear boy, just because you write the word won't in all caps does not mean your point is actually getting across. Let the people here have some damn hope that the game will indeed be on the PS3. GrandJury
Hey look it is the Post Police guy, are you going to report me again.
Or people can get an Xbox360 and then buy Mass Effect 1 and 2(when it comes out) and stop complaining about will an exclusive from another system come to this system so I can play it. The thing is it is an exclusive so the chance of it porting over is usually very slim to none. People like me who has both systems do not need to worry about exclusives, because I can buy and play whatever game I want and so it is possible for other people to do this to that is of course if they wanted to.

Stop bragging about having both systems because no one cares, and it isn't relevant to the argument at hand.
No one is complaining about whether or not Mass Effect 2 will come on the PS3, and even if they were, why should it bother you? That's something only a fanboy would get emotional about.
It's an exclusive, but it's a third party exclusive, meaning Microsoft doesn't own it. If this is the case, then we can assume that there is a chance, however slim it may be, that Mass Effect 2 will be coming to the PS3.
Even if it was a first party exclusive, we can hope it comes to the PS3 all we want. Who are you to tell us not to?

sound like u might be trying to justify the purchase of ur 360 lol. on topic, i would love to try it out...Does anybody care anymore?
Why would they port the game 3 years later, and release it after the second game is out

I don't know, maybe like Left 4 Dead... or Bioshock... you see, Microsoft seems to secure its 'exculsive' games for a certain amount of time only... And Bioware is owned by EA now, so I have no doubt it will happen sometime.
EA will handle the PS3 port of Lef 4 Dead, so I don't think it would be impossible that EA talked to Bioware about it... oh and Dragon Age is also on PS3, don't forget it. This is all about marketing, Microsoft secure its game library, and when the contract runs out, EA also wants to do money. They are not fools, Mass Effect is a big title and if they can get more money by releasing it to another console, well that's a no-brainer. You got one awesome game sitting on the bench while you could sell it to people who never played it yet? Why not?

This. Unless a developer is solely interested in being a console exclusive, or been paid alot to keep exclusive, the trend for the current generation is to port games to both consoles. Developers need to make the money back on what they spent making the game most of the time, Its a costly effort. If they choose to release the game on PS3, then its their choice, Not Microsoft's. I think people sometimes forget Video game companies are a business. It may or may not be photoshop, I don't know. I think that if they were to give the PS3 Mass Effect 2, then they would absolutely have to give the original as well. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to continue save files from the 1 ME onto the sequal. Also, don't forget that the Mass Effect franchise is planned to be a trilogy so I'll bet a sack of cash that if the PS3 doesn't get ME2 by the time Mass Effect 3 comes out, The Mass Effect franchise will forever be lost from the PS3 library.
Unless Mass Effect 2 comes out on the PS3, then I'll be getting it for the PC.
they could release ME2 and release ME1 as DLC (about 6-7 Gig) with a low price
anyway all M$ "exclusives" are doubtful since Eternal Sonata, Lost Planet, Bioshock were announced by M$ and the developers as "full exclusives" and finally released on PS3
