They work very well once it starts getting errors, and disc read errors. But it only works if it is dust on the lens. There could still be other problems.
All it is, is a disc with two little brush things on the side that is normally read for a DVD. The brushes take the dust off the lens, and that's it.
I'm planning on getting this from Amazon. Can anyone give me some feedback on this item? Here's the link

Brushless Maxell Blu-ray Lens Cleaner
This is not a brush based cleaner as the other posted commented. I have one of these and use it weekly. It uses 2 holes in the disc to create somesort of wind tunnel to clean the lens.
Well I purchased this for $15 from fry's and tested it on some drives I had for Xbox360's lying around and some PS3's only problem you need for the disc to be read in order to use the disc cleaner, I have other brush cleaners that are CD's which are read by anything so since its a DVD its not really that great as for "wind tunnel technology" the acsents in the voices of the DVD are pretty funny "Disc Creaner" and they have the death video from "soilent green" plus some really bad 3D models of a living room so not only does it clean its comedic.
