I have a wii and I was thinking I would get a psp because there not as expensive and I want to play good games that are not made by nintendo. Here are my questions

1. Should I get the PSP slim or regular?

2. Is sony planning on making a newer one and do I have to worry about production of games stopping for psp? ( I had an xbox)

3. Would you recommend getting one used or is it better to have a new one?

4. Do you have to buy the cord so you can hook it up to the computer?

5. Are there good sports games?

I think that's it and thank you in advance.

1. Should I get the PSP slim or regular? Get the PSP Slim Daxter Pack. It comes with the Ice Silver PSP System, Battery, A/C Adaptor, Daxter Game, Family Guy Freakin Sweet Collection, and a 1 GB Memory Stick.

2. Is sony planning on making a newer one and do I have to worry about production of games stopping for psp? Nope the PSP Slim came out in October, so that'll be another three years at a very minimum, but i expect 4 to 5 years.

3. Would you recommend getting one used or is it better to have a new one? I'd get a new one, cuz you get everything in the pack and not to mention it has that new feeling :)

4. Do you have to buy the cord so you can hook it up to the computer? If you already have a Mini USB cable, then no you can hook it up with that.

5. Are there good sports games? The Madden games are pretty good, and all the baseball games are pretty good too. I haven't played FIFA Soccer or anything else sports related though

I have a wii and I was thinking I would get a psp because there not as expensive and I want to play good games that are not made by nintendo. Here are my questions

1. Should I get the PSP slim or regular?

Get Slim, it's an upgrade of regular(obviously)

2. Is sony planning on making a newer one and do I have to worry about production of games stopping for psp? ( I had an xbox)

No, the slim basically is the new one, and games...well more are coming although some more AAA games are needed.

3. Would you recommend getting one used or is it better to have a new one?

I personally prefer new, but if you can't get a used

4. Do you have to buy the cord so you can hook it up to the computer?

yah, it doesn't come with it, but usually those cords come w/ cameras so you can buy a camera and get a cord as well!

5. Are there good sports games?

yup, fifa, madden, MLB, car racing(if you consider that a sport) etc.

I think that's it and thank you in advance.
