maybe it's just me. what do u guys think?

graphic wise. r2 has improved. I do own 360 and I cant see that geow2 has improved graphically. maybe they are still using the same enginer =/

Gears Graphics were already pretty high compared to other games, there is a difference (i.e better lighting and what not).. more of a polishing improvement.

Resistance graphics aren't so high standared as Gears, so more room for improvement is obtainable in Resistance 2

Actually R2 graphics are improved from the past version. But the scope as many reviews mentioned in R2 is much bigger than the first. That brings limitations to what the system can do, call yourself 360 or PS3, so to keep the gameplay that they wanted with big areas, lots of enemies, steady FPS and also big (actually huge) bosses they cutted graphics.

Gears 2 has also improved, mostly on some crappy textures that were on the first, and a new upgraded textures for other places as well as an improved engine from 2006s Gears 1.

Both games have improved graphically, Gears doubles and triples the amount of enemies on screen from time to time, and R2 has a vast amount of enemies also on screen (up to 40 Grims some times, more if you are in cooperative mode).

Both games look great - if I had to pick one that looks better than the other though it would be hands down...

Resistence 2!

I recently saw the trailers for both games back to back in giant screen glory at my local BlockBuster video and Gears looked sweet and like more of what we loved in Gears 1...

Then the Resistence 2 trailer played and I fealt a little lump in my throat - ya know the kind - the good kind that makes chills run up and down your spine!

Resistence 2 couldn't be hyped enough as it looks to be a totally phenomenal title. :)
