tbh, black ops is super over hyped. i felt that it didnt deliver when i got it and started to play. if you played previous CoD's, you'll know what i mean. i think medal of honor would be a good choice if you want something fresh and a lot of places have it for like 35ish bucks for black friday.FreshDimSumI agree only due to the Black Friday sales, he's right almost anywhere will be selling that game brand new for 35$
Medal of Honor. I am about to trade CoD in, it's too repetitive and boringhkymike
you think black ops is too repetitive and boring but not medal of honor? lol theyre pretty much the same type of game, except black ops has alot more content, and is better in many ways. EA and dice tried to make a cod clone, but its just not as good as the call of duty games. it really feels like a half hearted attempt.
im not saying black ops is perfect. its not. its basically just more call of duty, but it fixed several problems from mw2's multiplayer.
If my opinion counts,id say Battlefield Badcompany 2 is better than both of em

MoH was absolutely NO different than any other FPS, and CoDBO is great, but if you don't want the experience that either of those games offer (and are essentially carbon copies of each other), go with BFBC2 or for a REALLY different game with a lot more tactical edge, try "Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising". It should be noted - These opinions are based largely on SP, not MP mode. MP in MoH is a joke. An infuriating, camper-filled, over-powered sniper rifle joke.

Yeah, I figured as much... I'll buy the game after all of the dust settles because I like the series and I love what TreyArch does with it, but honestly I'm sick to death of hearing the name and seeing the product placement (a CoD Edition Jeep Cherokee? Really? ). I probably won't pick up a copy until it's $20. Until then, I'm ignoring the lot.
:D
"Flashpoint" is a much more challenging, more realistic, more intense, more heady title. Kudos to you for playing that game instead of these two being discussed here. "Flashpoint" would make the average CoD addict cry like a ****!
BO multiplayer has some serious problems.. Lag seems to be a big issue where entire games will crash.. Also the hit detection is extremely suspect...... Unlike MW2, it can take a ton of rounds to kill a guy.. This makes running into two or three guys at once extremely unlikely to live against.. Almost no matter how good you are.. Though I suppose that does make it a bit strategic.sSubZerOo
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that how it's supposed to be?
MEDAL OF HONOR
no matter how much layer of fixes they've put in the game, CoD has been the same since CoD4, in other words: "Clones with different cloth"
I enjoy Medal of Honor MP a little bit more, but they need more Team Deathmatch maps. I honestly cannot choose, but I liked Black Op's campaign more.
I would say that if you've already played a few CoD titles then, leave CoD
Forget about MoH
Get Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition - With it you'll get Onslaught Mode (Another online game mode), Battlefield 1943 (Awesome PSN online game) and BC2 the game
You'll get a VIP code if you buy brand new which you can use to download FREE map packs and to top it off theres a new map pack coming out soon and it'll be FREE
Also the Vietnam expansion pack is coming out and it looks awesome so i think for value and enjoyment BC2 is your best bet!
I think they are both really good, Medal of Honor I'd side with for more atmospheric and tactical objectives, but for epic and movie-like chase sequences and thrills MW2 wins.
I love how people think Cod is something special. It makes me laugh, I got the game and ready to trade it in a few days later. Not worth your moneyhkymikeI love how people like you go out and buy it, knowing that it is the same CoD as always and you still don't like it.
Considering how many CoD threads TC has made and posted in, I'd say he has a massive hard-on for the series.

Thank you, Black Ops is a very, very overrated game. The weapons are so unbalanced it is laughable. And the graphics are worse than the previous entry. I've never been a fan of Treyarch because they just aren't very good. The series has gone downhill since COD4 MW. That being said, MoH is quite underwhelming what with DICE doing the multiplayer. The game flat out isn't fun online. I would have to say neither unless you are talking about the series in general, then i would go with COD just because of Modern Warfare. It's too bad Activision ran Infinity Ward's most talented designers out of town.

You do realize Medal of Honor was made way before CoD, and CoD copied them? I guess they got luckier than MoH and were more successful. Honestly, MoH for the PS1 was one of the most fun games I've ever played. I would stay up all night on splitscreen with my cousin playing it.MOH for sure
Still think the campaign need to be like Airborne's instead of like the COD franchise.
You know, the wide open maps with objectives that you can tackle in any order, versus linear corridors.
