For those who played both, which do you consider superior? I prefer Maverick Hunter. It's generally cooler-looking, has several upgrades to find, and has more advanced game-play (being able to wall-jump, for instance). With Mega Man: Powered-up, Capcom went overboard with cute theme and baby voices. Being able to play as the enemy robots is a nice addition, though.
I think that maverick hunter is better simply because it doesn't try to be all cute with big heads and bright colors. Maverick hunter comes with a 30 minute movie (which is awesome!) and you can play as the character vile. The only reason i would ever buy powered up is that you can pretty much unlock every character in the game. Not too shabby, but i don't think that its worth buying the game for.
get both, thats what I say both are great games... but if you have to choose 1 mmpu is better because it has alot more stuff to do in it, and mmhx is really short.. but it'll be better to get both.
Well if it were me I wouldn't choose a game depending on how the game looks but how it plays and if there are any replay value. From what I can see Maverick Hunter and Powered Up both have their own pluses and minuses like in Maverick how your able to play as Vile (which is the repla value) and being able to as the bosses in Powered up and playing the challange thingy.(which is the replay value for Powered Up)
