You are wrong. With the memory card adapter you can only transfer to the ps3 and not from the ps3 back to a ps2/1 memory card. Unless this was fixed in an update that I am not aware of?

If you still hav the box and receipt, then you can just take it back to the store after transferring your stuff. I still go tmine. when i bought it at launch I thought it went both ways too. I really don't know why Sony doesn't allow this?Â
its like transferring something old to something new. It's harder to move something from the new copy back to the old copy. If you have macromedia flash you would understand.. they had macromedia flash mx at first, then flash 2004, then flash mx 8. Flash 8 save data cant be opened with 2004 OR flash mx. Sucks eh but i guess thats how tech advances.
It's been 2 years since the last post and I wondered if anyone knows of a new product which allows you to transfer saves from your PS1/2 Memory card to a PS3 and then back again? I'm guessing there isn't one seeing as the 60gb isn't made anymore. But if anyone knows then let me know!
