You could try one of these. Just plug it into the usb port and you should be able to use the memory sticks.

Really? Memory sticks dont work? Ive only got a 60gb, but I just plug it into the USB port and it pops up, i can view the files on whatever tab they are filed under. You can also view all the files on the memory stick by going into the options and clicking view all.

If you mean memory sticks as in Flash drives then YES it works perfectly. If you mean memory sticks as in Sony Memory Stick or digital camera kind of memory sticks then NO.

Oh, you must be new.

look at your playstation's SKU's and then looks at the 40GB's.

yeah, I thought so.

Edit: you said USB port...thats a flash drive, not a memory stick.

Bit of a language differential here, to me a memory stick is the think i plug into the usb port that i use to transfer things from PC to PC/PS3. Im assuming the 40gb can still do that, would be a stupid thing to take out. 40gb doesnt have the Memory Card readers.

Here in the US, memory sticks are flash carts/cards.

The one your talking about, is a flash drive, over here in the US.

sorry for my rash, rudeness before.

please accept my apology.
