mercinaries would be great FOR the psp .... so will alot of other games... but the simple fact is that the psp cannot handle them so they would be good.
the graphics on the psps screen get darker than the console counterparts, remember splinter cell essentials?
Also the file size might exceed 1.8 gigs or whatever the umd can hold.
the graphics card and loading times are problems that get bigger with each new intricate game.
the controls on the psp are not suited for some of the best games on the market, like rts's and games with alot of button combinations and actions.
LASTLY developers are not willing to release titles for the psp as freely as they used to.
LASTLY developers are not willing to release titles for the psp as freely as they used to.why not? did their games not sell so they stopped releasing them?strategyking92

the graphics on the psps screen get darker than the console counterparts, remember splinter cell essentials? SplinterCell wasn't that bad You got to remember most SC games are dark to allow you to hide in the shadows. Look at other shooter like Syphon Filter or Metal Gear Solid and you'll get a clearer picture of what the PSP can do when a game is developed for the hardware and not just a quick console port.
Also the file size might exceed 1.8 gigs or whatever the umd can hold.1.8 gigs is alot of room and most games on the PSP aren't even use it fully just like consoles dont use the whole 9+ gigs on a DVD9 disc.
the graphics card and loading times are problems that get bigger with each new intricate game.Again it's a matter of developing a game with the hardware limits in mind. Syphon Filter and Metal Gear Solid have almost no load times, and when it does have to load it's short (usually under 30secs).
the controls on the psp are not suited for some of the best games on the market, like rts's and games with alot of button combinations and actions. There are shooter control **** that do work on the PSP Socom, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid, Ratchet and Clank prove that it can be done and work.
LASTLY developers are not willing to release titles for the psp as freely as they used to. Really I see developers jumping all over the PSP even if they say they are pulling support they still seem to be making loads of games for the PSP. Some are even moving away from port and pushing original content Just look at Sega with Crush, Square with Crisis Core FF7, Or just look at the release list at ebgames
