It's Metal Gear Solid 4... by the way, the Metal Gear Solid series was born on the Playstation, but the Metal Gear series started a long time before that on the MSX or NES (I can't remember which one).
MGS 1,2,3,4 have all been on Plahstation only. MGS 1 on PS1, MGS 2 and 3 on PS2, MGS 4 on PS3. There have also been some on the PSP: Portable Ops, Portable Ops 2, Portable Ops+, Acid, Acid 2, Digital Graphic Novel.

well there are alot of imports around my area then cuz i have seen it at quite a few small shops here in California

MGS1 was rereleased on the GameCube, and MGS2 was on the XBOX. Try again, and do more research.
Actually Metal Gear started on the MSX, Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake was a sequal only released on the MSX. The Nes Metal Gear was a port(a bad one) and the Metal Gear 2:Snakes Revenge for the Nes was made without Kojima's consent, so it doesn't even count as a part of the official story. Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence has both original MSX games on the second disc.
