METAL GEAR ONLINE is finally over

I know that very few people play this game but for those who play it,the servers are finally offline forever,except for japan they still have 24 hours left.

Damn, down already? I totally forgot, when the news hit I started playing it again, and planned to play it some more before it went down but forgot that it was so soon, for some reason I kept thinking end of June...rip mgo...you gave me nearly 500 hours of love and you will be missed.

Oh well. There's still co-op for Peace Walker.

Wow...500 hours. I didn't get to play that much, but I still felt like the game gave me a solid competitive multiplayer experience. Did you do tournaments with a clan and so on? I friggin loved that system :lol: I remember me and my clan were pretty darn good, then we met one of the best teams in the world in a tournament and got buttraped:lol:

It's been a CF since day one! I love the Metal Gear franchise, but they REALLY blew that one!

I remember playing MGO so much more than the single player. Too bad it's done.

I created an account called Till12thOfJune on the MGO Servers and wanted to honor the great game that MGS4 and the whole MGS Saga Offline was.

Just to realize the online mode doesn't really live up to the awesome offline experience.

Still fun, but can't touch the "real" MGS the slightest.

So, goodbye MGO, Rest in Piece, I won't miss you ^^

I only really played it when MGS4 came out, and in spite of barely knowing what I was doing, I was still usually one of top scorers. Goes to show how many sucky people play online. :P Had a good time with it, the little that I played it. So long, MGO. Hope the next non-Revengeance Metal Gear is as awesome as it can be.
