A remake? Weren't we just dissapointed enough with the announcement that FFVII wasn't even in production? xD

Wrrd. I actually just bought the original off eBay earlier this year. Even 8 years after the fact, going back and filling in the backstory from MGS2/3/PO was so fulfilling, playing through MGS1 ranks as one of my favorite gaming experiences of all time. It's THAT good.

Not to sayI wouldn't buy it again if they updated the graphics and gameplay to match that of the later entries. But, either way, the original is required playing. Even if it looks like the faces were drawn in MS Paint. Hahaha.

***ORIGINAL MGS SPOILER ALERT***

Besides, it would be weird if Psycho Mantis couldn't make your rumbleless sixaxis move. And something about just forcing your controller to connect to a different port doesn't sound as intense...

Also, didn't you need the original cd case because it has someones codec frequency on it?

Yes, but they could always do something like...

Campbell: "Snake, quit the game and use your Playstation 3's web browser to go to this website to retrieve the codec frequency required to contact Meryl!! And Snake, don't be fooled by the popups! You didn't win jacks***."

I still remember playing MGS on PS1...

When that came out it was so incredible...

Graphics were amazing...gameplay was innovative. It was such an intense experience, Id definitely buy it on PSN!
