Wrrd. I actually just bought the original off eBay earlier this year. Even 8 years after the fact, going back and filling in the backstory from MGS2/3/PO was so fulfilling, playing through MGS1 ranks as one of my favorite gaming experiences of all time. It's THAT good.
Not to sayI wouldn't buy it again if they updated the graphics and gameplay to match that of the later entries. But, either way, the original is required playing. Even if it looks like the faces were drawn in MS Paint. Hahaha.
